COMFORT MY PEOPLE
As part of our ongoing parish life, we are instituting a celebration of the Anointing of the Sick at the twelve noon mass on the first Friday of every month. Persons to be anointed or their families should call the office of Parish Social Ministry (outreach), 585-4544, and inform us prior to the participation. This will allow us to make necessary preparation. Those parishioners who are anticipating surgery should also take advantage of this monthly celebration. Those who care for the sick will be given a blessing. The first monthly mass will be on Friday, February 4, 2000.

PARISH SOCIAL MINISTRY
"Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted."

The Consolation Ministry offers a personal, caring presence on behalf of the parish community, to a family that is experiencing the death of a loved one.
Needed - Caring people, who:
1. With others - prepare the liturgy with the family (daytime)
2. With others, assist in conducting the Vigil Prayer Service (evenings)
3. Assist at the Funeral Mass (mornings)

Call Parish Outreach (585-4544)and find out how you can be involved in this Very Special Ministry.
